Minyip can lay claim to the fact that it has the first Post Office built by the Commonwealth Government after Federation in 1901. Minyip is famous as the town known as 'Coopers Crossing', made popular in the TV series 'The Flying Doctor'. Things to Do and See Take a stroll through town and see the landmark sites used in filming the Flying Doctors, such as the Majestic Hotel, Emma's Garage and the Flying Doctor Base.
